Marcille Donato is the best half-elf mage in Dungeon Meshi, and she's also the most relatable character in the whole show. As Laios's party's main magical powerhouse, she's doing everything she can to save her best friend Falin from the belly of a dragon. While the rest of the group is completely crazy and wants to make monsters out of anything they find, Marcille is the only one who is calm and rational. She always says she doesn't want to eat dungeon creatures, but in the end, she always gives in to her hunger. It's really fun to watch her turn into a monster-eating foodie.

Marcille completely changes the way elves are usually seen in movies. Yes, she has beautiful long blonde hair, bright green eyes, and a classic blue and white mage robe. But what really makes her the best waifu material is her personality. People know her for making the funniest, most cursed reaction faces when Senshi brings her roasted basilisk or boiled mimics. Fans love her because she's basically a very stressed out student who keeps getting dragged through the mud. Even though she cries and complains a lot, she is a fiercely loyal friend who will even dabble in dark magic that is against the law to save the people she loves.
