Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail is HoYoverse's space RPG with turn-based combat instead of real-time action. And honestly, it works great. You are the Trailblazer, an amnesiac with a cosmic disaster seed inside you. You ride the Astral Express, which is a real space train, across the galaxy to fix problems caused by these things called Stellarons. Timing, taking advantage of elemental weaknesses, and working together with your four characters, each of whom follows a different Path linked to godlike beings called Aeons, are all important in combat. What makes it special is how it mixes deep lore about cosmic philosophy with funny, self-aware dialogue where you can say completely crazy things during serious moments. You explore smaller, more contained areas on different planets instead of one huge open world. This makes the game feel faster. It has the high-end anime look that HoYoverse is known for, and if you like gacha mechanics, it has those too.
