The protagonist is an amnesiac who wakes up on Solaris-3 and shoulders the weight of the whole story. He actually feels like a proper, established badass, instead of a boring self-insert. He is a wanderer of the post-apocalyptic world, collecting Echoes and recovering his lost memories. Fans immediately took to his stoic but surprisingly gentle personality.
