Wet
The wet tag really sets the pros apart from the amateurs. People say that rendering water is very hard, but when it is done right, it completely changes an image. We are talking about how wet fabric sticks to skin, how wet hair looks shiny, and how individual drops of water run down a character's face. It gives the character art a level of realism and texture that you can not get with dry art.
A big part of this collection is obviously based on the well-known "wet clothes" trope. These pictures use transparency and silhouette in a way that is often used for fanservice. For example, a school uniform caught in a sudden downpour or a white shirt at the beach. But being sexy is not always the point. Rain scenes are great for dramatic storytelling. Think of those sad breakups or epic battles where the rain hides the tears. The mood in these pieces is usually very good, and they often use reflections and dark lighting.
There is also a lot of sports anime art here that focuses on sweat and hard work. When a character is soaked after a tough match, it makes the scene more intense and gritty. This tag covers all situations where things get a little wet, from steamy bath shots to refreshing pool vibes. It has a great mix of technical skill and pure beauty.
