Kurome Wallpapers

If you're drawn to the darker side of anime, you definitely know Kurome from the brutal world of Akame ga Kill!. As the younger sister of the titular heroine Akame and a core member of the Empire's elite Jaegers, she's a tragic antagonist who completely steals the show. Visually, Kurome has an incredibly striking dark aesthetic that heavily contrasts with her innocent appearance. She rocks a black sailor uniform with a red tie, short black hair, and dark eyes that hint at her deeply traumatized past. But her most defining feature is undoubtedly her Teigu, the katana known as Yatsufusa. This terrifying sword allows her to reanimate and control the corpses of anyone it kills, making her one of the most formidable and visually captivating threats in the entire series. Beyond her undeniable combat prowess, fans absolutely adore Kurome for her complex and deeply obsessive personality. She carries a massive grudge against her older sister for defecting from the Empire, resulting in a twisted, yandere-like affection where she desperately wants to kill Akame just to keep her corpse forever. Despite this terrifying mindset, Kurome is hilariously addicted to sweets and is fiercely protective of her little bag of cookies. That massive contrast between a ruthless necromancer and a cute, snack-hoarding waifu makes her a massive fan favorite. The fanart community loves to highlight this duality, giving us everything from chilling, atmospheric battle scenes with her undead puppets to incredibly cute, sweet-eating portraits. Whether you want a dark and moody background for your desktop or a beautiful character portrait for your phone, our Kurome wallpaper collection has you completely covered.
