Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai questions the idea that talent determines fate by putting a romantic comedy around a nightmare for teachers: what happens when geniuses don't want to use their strengths? The main character, Nariyuki Yuiga, is a poor student who gets a scholarship to a university, but he has to tutor the school's two brilliant prodigies, Fumino Furuhashi and Rizu Ogata. The catch is a paradox that goes against what you might think: even though Fumino is a literary genius and Rizu is a computer whiz, they are both completely useless in the subjects they want to study in college. The series stands out from other harem shows because it doesn't focus as much on cheap ecchi antics and instead focuses on the real conflict of "talent vs. passion."
