His name is Wakana Gojo, and as a high schooler, he was quiet and loved making Hina dolls as a hobby. It's not the kind of cool hobby that teens usually do. Marin Kitagawa is a beautiful and popular girl at school who loves anime and cosplay. She finds out that Gojo can sew and more or less hires him to make whatever she wants into cosplay characters. Gojo and Kitagawa are definitely having the usual opposites-attracting action. Instead of making fun of their interests because they are weird and geeky, the show really cares about them. Fans enjoy and support Gojo as he uses his knowledge of Hina dolls to make cosplay and the growth of their relationship based on adult considerations and valuing their own interests for a like-minded nerd.
