Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan

Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan is just pure anarchy wrapped in school comedy packaging. The premise is just straightforward: Torako Koshi is just this exemplary schoolgirl with a hidden delinquent background, but then she encounters Nokotan—a girl with real-life deer antlers who was caught literally hanging from a power line during their first meeting. Nokotan just somehow picks up on Torako's hidden delinquent vibes and instantly becomes attached to her. The rest, of course, is just one punch after another of pure absurdist comedy where logic is just spewed out the window and the antlers just defy physical reality for the sake of just making people laugh. The series just runs wild with random instances of breaking the fourth wall and all this just outlandish, fever dream kind of energy that just pokes fun at traditional school anime in general while turning up the weirdness to an eleventy. It's just "cute girls doing cute stuff," but with deer biology.
