Zenless Zone Zero
Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's version of an urban-fantasy action RPG. It takes you to New Eridu, the last city standing after the Hollows, which were reality-warping disasters, tore everything apart. You play as a Proxy, a person who uses special technology to help people get through these monster-filled dimensional zones for money and safety. The whole thing screams urban-punk: old-school tech looks mixed with streetwear culture and anime-style graphics that really stand out. Combat is quick and rhythmic, with a lot of character changes, perfect parries, and flashy Chain Attacks that break down enemy defenses. But what really makes it stand out is the downtime. You're running a video rental store, getting to know a crazy group of human and demi-human agents, and dealing with the social dynamics of the last stronghold of humanity. It's like Persona meets action combat in a city that has been destroyed but still feels alive.
